Anna Zabrotskaya

Founder and Head of Fashion Law Russia

Anna is the founder and head of Fashion Law Russia and one of the pioneers of fashion law as a distinct area of legal practice in Russia. She advises premium and luxury brands on intellectual property, commercial matters and complex disputes, with a particular focus on cross-border work.

Anna graduated from St Petersburg State University and holds an Executive Master's degree in Luxury Management from SDA Bocconi in Milan and ESSEC Business School in Paris. She teaches international commercial arbitration at St Petersburg State University and lectures on law for the fashion industry at Mod'Art International.

Anastasia Dorofeeva

Co-Head of Fashion Law Russia

Anastasia is Co-Head of Fashion Law Russia and an intellectual property specialist with particular expertise in the fashion and creative industries. She holds a Candidate of Legal Sciences degree (PhD equivalent) and was the first lawyer in Russia to defend a doctoral thesis focused on fashion law.

She graduated from Moscow State University and holds an LL.M. from NYU and an MBA from Mod'Art International in Paris. Anastasia is the author of educational courses and publications and has taught law to designers at the British Higher School of Art and Design for more than five years.

Before joining Nordic Star Law Offices, Anastasia headed A.D. Fashion Law, a boutique practice advising clients in the fashion and creative industries.
