Anna is the FLR’s founder and editor-in-chief. As the head of Fashion and Lux industry group at Nordic Star Law Offices, Anna is the main contact for many international brands in connection with their business operations in Russia and CIS. Being a pioneer in the setting up of fashion and luxury law as a new practice area in Russia, Anna is also constantly engaged in extra-curricular activities, such as giving master-classes for designers and law students, and being a fashion law columnist for the famous Russian legal magazine “Legal Insight”. Anna is also a frequent participant in and speaker on luxury law at business-related conferences, including Russia’s largest and most prestigious legal event, the St Petersburg International Legal Forum. There in 2018 she arranged and co-moderated the first public discussion about fashion law, involving designers, retailers, customs officials and professors from Rome’s Sapienza University.
Being a big enthusiast, Roman has inspired the very creation of the FLR project and gave it enourmous support, despite the fact that fashion is way too far from being called his greatest passion. As a lawyer Roman is specilizing in corporate law, intellectual property law, financial technologies and innovations. Roman has been a counsel to a number of succesfull starups in legal and business related matters, and probably will be the first lawyer who will fly to space.
From early childhood, Alexandra helped her mother to sew, spent weekend evenings flipping through fashion magazines and dreamed to become a fashion designer or editor at Vogue, but has finally chosen jurisprudence. However, Alexandra has found the way to marry law and her passion for fashion in her career. Alexandra specializes in intellectual property and assists clients from the fashion industry to obtain legal protection and enforce copyright, trademarks and industrial designs. Alexandra also advises clients on advertising regulation and personal data legislation.
